Mounted specimens are an excellent tool in science. My First Lab offers a series of real animal bones, carefully treated and mounted for display. In this skull comparison, observers can see the differences in the bone structure of different vertebrates, including a rabbit, a pigeon, a turtle, a frog or a toad and a fish. This set comes with a sturdy acrylic cover to protect it from dust.
